VOCES VICENTINAS (Vincentian Voices) is the blog of the parish of San Pedro de Mocomoco – part of the Vincentian Mission in Bolivia. Here, two missionaries — Diego Plá Aranda, C.M., Cyrille De La Barre De Nanteuil, C.M. and their teams — serve in two large rural parishes– Mocomoco and Italaque — with over 80 communities. The collaborate with two local lay leaders: Flora Silva and Violeta Rodriguez. The culture and language is predominantly Aymara. The area is very poor, and they have developed a broad based response to the problems and opportunities thay have found. You can read more about what they are doing and view a video here.
