Thanks to your generosity and constancy, the formation center in Ingas is almost complete. This week, Mario Porto and his crew will finish the stucco, paint, install window glass, lay the floor, install the electric and we’re done. While I’m home for vacation, Diego and Flora will look for the furnishings and computers we’ll need. We hope to be up and running in March, just as the new school semester has begun. Then, as the rains subside, we’ll go back to Calacala to complete the work there.
The little library will be a great aid to the young folks in Ingas. Our connection with Ingas is going so well that we have some great news: (1) we’ll be opening a low-cost lunch program for the students at the High School in Ingas (like the one we have in Mocomoco). Flora has done the investigation, and there’s a great need for nutritional support in this community. (2) Two young men, graduates of the High School in Ingas, will join us as volunteers for 2014 while we help them prepare for entrance into college! Just more evidence that with your help we continue having a Miraculous Impact! Have a blessed Christmas!
