It’s September, and that means we’re getting ready to celebrate our patronal; feast, “The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary” on September 8. It will be filled with celebration, prayer, music and dance. I’ll capture some of it for you. Then, on September 10th, I head to Cochabamba for three days work with the daughters of Charity. Then, on September 17th and 18th, we host the regional gathering of priests and catechists (16 parishes). Then, at the end of the month, there are lots of festivities around the feast of St. Vincent (27th).

In October, we’ll dedicate the formation center in Wilalcala (6th); on the 11th I’m in Humanata to close the octave of St. Francis, and on the 13th we have our own catechist workshop. On October 21, I head to Costa Rica to represent the Bolivian mission at the week-long gathering of CM Provincials of Latin America. And I’ll blog and photo it all!

Meanwhile, with financing in place for Stage 1, we’re almost ready to break ground on the new formation center in Ingas! I’m tired just writing this 🙂

    Aidan,

Slow down — your calendar needs an appointment secretary!

Seriously, nice goin’ on all the good work. Sounds like lots of preaching and teaching.

I was thinking of you when Tom K passed. He was a “tumultuous” guy and so may he be resting in deep peace…

    You be well,
    Tom McK
