We used to have a confrere serving in a town called Humanata. After discussions with the bishop, it was decided that we would consolidate our efforts in Italaque and Mocomoco and the bishop would look for a pastor for Humanata. To date, none has appeared, and I have been going to Humanata about once a month to celebrate Eucharist there, and occasionally visit smaller communities nearby. This month I went for the feast of St. Francis, patron of Humanata, which they celebrate on the 11th of October, the octave of the actual feast. It was a beautiful celebration, with infant baptisms, as well as some full initiations (baptism, confirmation and eucharist) of young people. Here are some more photos.
