What struck me most last night was how real everyone was with one another. When the team was chosen for the next Jornada, everyone was enthused and incredibly supportive. Obviously this community has been together and is experienced in welcoming new members. I can imagine that conversations continued for many even as people left in groups and families.
Also, their work is done intergenerationally. There is respect for the young voice and the older voice. Neither seemed to dominate. It was one of those rare time when people met in deep trust of one another and recommitted to the work of growing in integrity.
